New 3,000 Watt Power Supply with 15W/in3 Power Density

PowerGate is proud to announce the release of the Mean Well RSP-3000 Series of switching power supplies featuring a high power density of 15.6/Win3 and consisting of 3 models offering 3 kilowatts of output power with primary output voltages of 12 / 24 / 48 VDC and an auxiliary 12V @ 100mA output. The units have an ultra wide external control voltage trim capability that trims the output voltage from 20~110% of the rated output voltage.

The RSP-3000 utilizes digital control techniques to achieve 3kW of output power in a 10.95 x 7.00 x 2.50" package including fans and an operating efficiency of 86%~90% depending on model.  These power supplies feature 180-264 VAC input with Active Power Factor Correction; Integral ball-bearing fans with speed control; -20~50˚C full load operating temperature range; Remote Sense; Remote on/off control;  power good signal and current sharing of up to 2 units.  Options include reversing of status / control signals to accommodate hot-swap / redundant applications.  The power supplies are RoHS compliant and have been safety approved to UL/cUL60950-1, TUV/CB EN60950-1 and bear the CE Mark (LVD), making them ideal for worldwide applications.
