PowerGate LLC announces the release of the PowDec VHD300 Series of 300 Watt High-Density / High-Efficiency switching power supplies in a compact 3.00 x 5.00 x 1.34" open-frame package.

The VHD300 series is a 300 Watt open-frame switcher consisting of five models with main output voltages ranging from 12-48 VDC and auxiliary outputs of 5VSb @ 1A and 12V Fan @ 1A. All models features Remote On/Off Control; DC OK Signal; Universal AC Input (90-264 VAC); High Efficiency operation up to 89%; Active Power Factor Correction for EN61000-3-2 Class D compliance; Full load operation up to 50°C with 20 cfm airflow (150 watts convection cooled); and Reliability in excess of 100k Hours. The series has been qualified for Class B Emissions and is safety approved to UL/cUL 60950-1, EN60950-1 standards and bears the CE Mark.
